Two ways to be matched with a child

  • Traditional – The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) matches the family based on their recommendations in their home study and special needs checklist.
  • Waiting Child – The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) has a waiting child list for children with more significate special needs, older children, and larger sibling groups. The family can view this list once approved by MYP and would submit a pending application to be unofficially matched by the MOJ until dossier has been approved by the MOJ.
