Peru Adoption
Mi Yungs Prayer is pleased to offer international adoption from Peru
At Mi Yungs Prayer, Peru holds a special place in our hearts as we expand opportunities for children to find loving, permanent families. Located on the western coast of South America, Peru is known for its rich history, vibrant culture, strong family values, and breathtaking landscapes, including the Andes Mountains and the ancient city of Machu Picchu.
Peru is a Hague Adoption Convention country and has participated in Hague-compliant international adoptions for more than 18 years, helping ensure ethical and transparent adoption practices that prioritize the best interests of children. Families adopting from Peru follow a structured process that includes a home study, dossier preparation, approval through Peru's central adoption authority, child matching, and finalization of the adoption.
Through this program, Mi Yungs Prayer looks forward to partnering with families who feel called to adoption while honoring Peru's rich heritage and helping children experience the love, stability, and belonging of a forever family.

About the Children
Children available for adoption from Bulgaria include:
- Children ages 2-16 years old
- Sibling groups and older children
- Minor to moderate special needs
Matching
There are two pathways to matching with a child:
- Special Adoptions - This list is updated every month or so. This list of children with special needs, health problems and adolescents. There are sibling groups listed. Children on this list are often in greatest need of adoptive families.
- Standard Adoptions - Children are referred through Peru's central adoption authority based on family qualifications and child needs. More flexibility regarding age, sibling groups, and medical needs. Families seeking a younger child or fewer identified medical or developmental needs may find the standard program more appropriate. Wait time can be longer.

Wait time depends on your openness to age range, special needs, and sibling groups. Average is 1-3 years; wait times for "healthy" children are longer.
